"Ying-Ju Chen joined the IEOR Department at UC Berkeley in July 2007 after completing his PhD in Operations Management in the IOMS Department, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University. In 2006, he served as the instructor of ``Decision Models'' at Stern School , and is a recipient of NYU teaching excellence award. He also holds master's and bachelor's degrees of Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University . His current research interests lie in supply chain contracts and coordination under information asymmetry, with special emphasis on the design of multi-tier supply chains, the role of correlation among contracting parties, and the impact of information disclosure and acquisition. His work has appeared in Information Systems Research, Automatica, Queueing Systems, and Performance Evaluation. "
